Internships and mentoring

For many years, Version internationale has been supporting students by offering them professional internships to give them the skills they need to enter the job market.

You’ll learn the appropriate thought processes and you’ll discover the basics of interpersonal skills in the workplace through interactions with our teams. Lastly, the pace of work is defined through development phases, preparing you for a professional work routine.
You’ll improve your quality and efficiency, while acquiring the right instincts for the job.
Version internationale has several training resources at your disposal:
> A mentor,
> Reports on each of your translations (detailed or concise),
> Regular progress meetings,
> Training on projects, tools or specific language topics,
> A team that is always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Master’s students, do you have an inquisitive nature? Do you think you can adapt well and work as part of a team? You can apply for your end-of-course internship (6 months)
The ‘Jeune Pousse’ programme

An internship is great, but continuing the working relationship could be a fantastic opportunity if you want to set up your own business.
Our support, via the ‘Jeune Pousse’ programme, enables our interns to benefit from a retainer agreement. This guarantees them a minimum amount of work from Version internationale, with the team also providing ongoing guidance and professional development.
The programme is open to young French-speaking translators. VI provides a minimum monthly volume of 24K words, the support of a mentor, meetings and quarterly reviews, detailed translation reports and payment on the last day of the month.
For their part, the young freelance linguist undertakes to handle the monthly volume, to comply with usage recommendations and specific instructions, and to apply a preferential rate.
A partnership approach with educational institutions

As a key player in our sector, we have a responsibility for future generations. That’s why we work hard to build partnerships with universities and schools.
These partnerships enable us to bring the reality of the business world into the classroom, giving students a realistic and practical perspective on their future careers. We’re convinced that exchanging knowledge and experience between academia and the professional world is mutually beneficial.
By organising workshops, conferences and internships, we contribute to training tomorrow’s talent. Our aim is to prepare young people to take on the challenges of the job market, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge. This approach and these experiences provide opportunities for interaction and innovation to shape the future of our profession together.
